Aaron Mapleback - Biography

Aaron Joel Mapleback (born October 13, 1992) is an Australian Actor, Singer, and Model. Mapleback was born in Melbourne, to Peter Mapleback, a mechanical engineer, and Linda Mapleback (Johnson) a teacher. He is the third of four children. Mapleback obtained a degree in Biomedicine from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. After graduating, Mapleback studied full-time at the Howard Fine Professional Actors Studio in Melbourne. As an actor, Mapleback has appeared in innumerable Australian TV Commercials, as well as starring in Feature Films, such as A Journey Through Time, With Anthony, (2015) as well as dozens of short films, like Couch Killers, (2016) St. Paul, (2015) and Totally Smashed. (2012)

An accomplished singer, Mapleback has covered artists such as Sam Cooke, Beyonce', and Bruce Springsteen, racking up nearly 37 million song plays in the process. In 2015, Mapleback won the prestigious honor of becoming PopWrapped's International Artist To Watch, a competition in which over 264,000 people voted for him. PopWrapped's Zachary Jaydon exclaimed "Mapleback's versatility as a young artist is quite astounding. He truly enjoys a challenge, and isn't afraid to re-imagine a classic, while staying true to its' proper form."
