American actress, producer and writer Abbie Dunn was born in Naperville, Illinois and raised in Tampa, Florida. As a child, Abbie and her family moved around a lot which lead to her living in 5 states before the age of 12. From a very young age she was involved in theater and signed with her first agency at age 15. While studying communications in college, her first break came when she appeared in a film, Beyond the Trophy starring Michael Madsen and Eric Roberts. From there, her career in film and television took off. She continues to work on diverse projects. She has been quoted to also have a book finished but has yet to publish it.
Abbie also dedicates time to philanthropy. She is involved with the Somaly Mam Foundation, ASPCA and PETA.
