Agnes Olech - Biography

Agnes Olech was born in Bielsko Biala, Poland. As Poland was still under communist rule, Agnes' family soon immigrated to Germany in 1989 where they settled in the small town of Hasslinghausen. However, it was always her parents dream to live in America and shortly after her father won the green card lottery and moved the family to Sacramento in April of 1994. Agnes speaks fluent Polish and basic German. Now settled in Los Angeles she loves spending her free time with her dogs and being outdoors. She is an avid runner and animal advocate.

Agnes can be seen in season two of HBO's acclaimed series True Detective playing Veronica Chessani, the Mayor's wife who tries to interfere with the detectives' (Taylor Kitsch & Rachel McAdams) investigation of her husband. She recently appeared on ABC's acclaimed show Castle, guest starred on CBS's Intelligence opposite Josh Holloway, played Gerty alongside the very funny Adam DeVine on Workaholics and starred opposite Rob Lowe in the comedy webseries Butterfinger the 13th. Other TV appearances include FOX's New Girl, CBS' Rules of Engagement, General Hospital, and Comedy Central's Reno 911. Agnes can be seen as Julia in "Who's Afraid of Vagina Wolf" (a dark comedy by Michael Urban, writer of Saved) which has won numerous awards including Best Female Performance Outfest 2013, Best Feature Comedy QFest 2013 and Best Screenplay QFilm 2013. She has also shared the silver screen with John Heard and Oscar nominee Bruce Davison in Stealing Roses and played Danny Trejo's vivacious girlfriend in Living the Dream.
