Alan Wenkus - Biography

Writer, producer Alan Wenkus has written several riveting big screen biopics including the F. Gary Gray directed "Straight Outta Compton" and the recently announced upcoming biopic "No Show Jones" about country music legend George Jones.

Alan was a screenwriter and programming executive with Premiere Radio and Clear Channel when he began a series of interviews with former NWA manager Jerry Heller and Eazy E's widow Tomica Wright that developed into the screenplay "Straight Outta Compton."

Among his upcoming projects, Alan has recently finished a big screen biopic of Boston Red Sox slugger Ted Williams called "Teddy Ballgame" and is adapting the thrilling New York Times bestseller "Code Name: Johnny Walker" into a major motion picture. Wenkus has also written several screen plays and done uncredited rewrites for Warner Brothers, Tri-Star Pictures, New Line Pictures and Xenon Pictures.
