Alana Allen - Biography

Alana Allen attended the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City where she studied voice, drama and dance. Other graduates include Alicia Keys and Claire Danes. Alana began performing at the age of 5 and became a local celebrity when she won the title of State Jr. Vocal Champion, representing her hometown of Carmel Indiana, at the age of 12. Alana has performed in 10 professional theatrical productions and has been featured as a guest artist on numerous local TV news channels. She has also performed on David Letterman. Alana was selected to go to Hollywood as one of the final contestants in the nationwide search for the new reality show/TV series on VH1 "Search For The New Partridge Family". The first episode scheduled to begin airing on VH1 on September 5th-2004. Alana accepted this offer, hoping to get a chance to perform Live on VH1, but will only be allowed to perform songs selected by the producers. Alana is struggling to advance her music and acting career by working a day job and living with her mother, Stephanie in a tiny studio apartment in New York City. Currently filming a new commercial, February-2005, for "Ameritrade" hoping it will pay enough money to to allow her to cut her day job hours to have more time to record and advance her acting career.
