Alejandra Barros was born on August 11th, 1971 in Mexico City, Mexico. In order to become an actress, she studied theatre in "Lee Strasberg Theater Institute" (New York). She also studied dance in "Broadway Dance Center".
She participated in various Mexican soaps like "Clase 406" and "Locura de amor" before getting her first protagonic role as Mariana in the successful soap "Mariana de la noche". She also acted in a play called "Malcom y su lucha contra los Eunucos".
She has one son, Luis Manuel, from a previous marriage.
