Canadian producer Alex Lalonde has worked in the film and television industry for over 20 years; including Producer on various commercials (1998-2000), Bilingual Business Analyst for Canada Media Fund (2000-2003), Business Affairs for Capri Films (2003-2004), Business Analyst for Telefilm Canada (2006-2007).
Lalonde was Awards Director for the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and managed the Genie and Gemini awards from 2007 to 2009.
In 2010 she joined Toronto-based First Generation Films on the feature film The Whistleblower, starring Rachel Weisz and Vanessa Redgrave, and served as Head of Production and Business Affairs until 2014. In 2015 she joined interactive entertainment company Digital Howard as Vice President.
Alex Lalonde is a board member of WIFT-T (Women in Film & Television Toronto).
