Alex Ozerov - Biography

Alex Ozerov was born in Tula, Russia and immigrated to Toronto at the age of 13. After taking drama at school, he took an instant interest in acting. Alex then began studying the craft with filmmaker Walter Alza in 2006 at the Alza Acting Studio. Ozerov has been consistently working in television since a young age, most recently filming a recurring role on the new season of BBC America's Orphan Black. Previously, he has landed guest star appearances on ABC's Rookie Blue, TNT's Transporter: The Series, Disney Channel's What's Up Warthogs, CBC's Cracked, and History Television's Perfect Storm. Alex made his feature film debut in Jason Buxton's award winning film Blackbird, which premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. He's continued working in film, appearing in the independent features Molly Maxwell, What We Have, The Dark Stranger, and the award-winning film Guidance, which premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. He can soon be seen as the lead in the new independent features Natasha and Coconut Hero, and is about to commence working on the film adaptation of the New York Times best seller The History of Love. He will star alongside Gemma Arterton, and Sophie Nelisse.
