Alexandra Rocha was born in Braga, Portugal. Daughter of a businessman and a stay-at-home mom, she has two sisters. She moves to Coimbra to study Law at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra, where she graduates in 2005. In 2006, she moves to Lisbon and decides to enroll in an actor's degree at Act - Escola de Actores, later that year, Alexandra starts working in "Pequeno Palco de Lisboa" Theatre Company. She has entered several short films, national "telenovelas" and starred in the movie "O Frágil Som do Meu Motor", by Leonardo António.
