Alika Autran - Biography

Born in Pointe-Claire Quebec (Canada), to a French father and a Ukrainian mother, Alika Autran expressed her desire to become an actress at a very young age. That desire became a goal when at 13 years old she got the opportunity of being on set with John Malkovich. From that moment she knew her place was in the entertainment industry.

Alika spent most of her childhood on stage dancing for a professional ballet company; Ballet Ouest de Montreal. As well as studying at The Actors Studio in Montreal with acting coach Chip Zien.

She later traveled to Europe and became a fashion Model. She was represented by top modeling Agencies such as Giovanni model management in Montreal and Paolo Tomei in Milan.

In 2002, Alika moved to Banff Alberta to teach snowboarding. A few years later she was approached by Ride Guide TV to host their snowboarding show on Extreme Channel. She traveled the world with her snowboard in hand for many years...

In 2008, Alika decided to relocate to Vancouver to put her foot back in the Film and Tv industry. She has since been in many independent full length features and short films. In May 2012, she starred in a film that got selected in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival. It soon went on to win Best Human Rights Film in Amsterdam and was part of the Official Selection at the New York Indian Film Festival. She then appeared in Television shows such as Supernatural on the CW network and has embodied the role of a twisted con artist in the full length feature The Road to Tophet directed by Steve Schmidt. She's also recently worked on the set of Star Trek Beyond and Hallmark movie of the week The Dater's Handbook. Alika recently optioned off her first screenplay and is currently working on the pre production of this full length feature with a local Vancouver production house.

Alika has spent the last 5 years studying with acting coaches Matthew Harrison, Robin Nielsen and Bradley Stryker. She confesses that most of her self-discipline, endurance and focus come from her ten years of classical ballet training.
