Amanda Brooks - Biography

Amanda Kate Brooks was born in New York and has lived a trans-Atlantic life between there and London where her early career began on stage. Her talent soon caught the eye of many in Hollywood landing her first major role as the lead in "Dragon Wars". Amanda continued to expand her range and influence in such films as "My Best Friend's Girl" (with Kate Hudson) and "Stiletto" (with Tom Berenger) and in supporting roles opposite Jodie Foster in "Flight Plan", and Faye Dunaway and Malcolm McDowell in "Cut Off".

Amanda spends her time between New York, London and LA, working in theatre, film and television. She starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in Paul Schrader's "The Canyon's" scripted by Brett Easton Ellison and the independent feature "This Thing With Sarah". Amanda most recently starred in the Fox hit series Bones, the Lifetime Series The Lottery opposite Marley Shelton scripted by Timothy Sexton , and on stage as Catherine in the Ovation nominated production of David Auburn's Proof.
