Born in Toronto, Ontario, and raised in North Vancouver, BC. Studied acting throughout her teens and early twenties at The Arts Umbrella and Carousel Theatres in Vancouver, BC. Following her theater training, she went on to study the Meisner Technique for several years with one of Sanford Meisner's understudies. While acting, she became interested in producing and produced her first film (What They Wanted, What They Got) when she was 24 years old.
Has three younger siblings, Jade, Sarah and Sean. She's lived in Thailand, Mexico, New York, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. She cites New Orleans as her favorite city in North America.
