After high school Amara moved to Los Angeles where she attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and performed and studied improv with The Groundlings. She has been in a variety of commercials including Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Chips as the Spicy Doritos Girl who beats up a vending machine! She was also the voice of Polly in the smash web series, Unleashed.
After seven years as a working actor, Amara discovered what it was like to experience the world from behind the camera, and everything changed.
In 2012, Amara co-founded Under 1 Roof Productions, a company with driving innovations for, and a deep appreciation of, the entertainment industry. Just like its founders.
