Andra Nechita was born in Onestî, Romania but moved to Dublin, Ireland in 2002 where she resided with her parents and brother for 3 years. It was not until she moved to Los Angeles in November of 2005, that Andra showed an interest in acting. Growing up, Andra had a passion for singing, and would perform in front of her grandparents. After her move to LA, however, her parents signed her up for acting classes at TVI Actors Studio in Studio City. Alongside TVI, Andra also took classes with various well known instructors at Young Performers Studio. After leaving TVI, Andra remained with YPS to focus mainly on her training. It was not until her departure from YPS, that Andra got a contract with Angel City Talent and soon started landing roles. After working as an extra in a short film, Andra finally landed a lead role as Cleopatra in Cleopatra X starring Anderson Silva in May of 2009. In 2010, Andra auditioned for the role of Gaby in Bad Teacher, landing the role the very next day. After filming for Bad Teacher ended, Andra found herself really busy. She landed a lead role in a commercial for Audi followed immediately by a lead in the upcoming dramatic thriller, Cats Dancing on Jupiter, as Young Kylie Philips. She also worked on a PSA titled 'Hope' starring Justin Chambers which was a short film made to help aid the education crisis in California. Andra also has starred in several theatre productions such as Our Town as the lead role of Emily Webb in the third act of the play, as well as several other plays. Andra also co-starred in the Christmas episode of How I Met Your Mother in season 7, as the daughter of Robin Scherbatsky (played by Cobie Smulders) and Barney Stinson (played by Neil Patrick Harris. Andra also released her first single and collaboration on iTunes titled "It's A Beautiful Day." She resides in Los Angeles, and continues to work on her guitar and music, write screenplays, and do what she loves best - acting.
