Andrea Estella - Biography

Andrea Estella is primarily known as the lead singer of the band Twin Sister. Being a fan of her work, Veronica Mars creator/director Rob Thomas asked her to replace Leighton Meester in the role of Carrie Bishop for the film version, to be released in 2014. Estella has also starred in three music videos, most notably as Kimmi, the tormented protagonist of the group's Japanese Horror-influenced "Kimmi in a Rice Field" video. She is a recurring guest in videos by the New York based sketch comedy group City on Film, most recently portraying the bizarre Chickenhead Diana in a spoof rap video called "Durt Purz." Notably, Estella is frequently credited with art direction, hair & makeup, and wardrobe credits in the projects she undertakes.
