Ange Maya - Biography

Born into a traditional Chinese family, Ange joined Gymnastic team and dance group at 6 years old. Ange was a mathematic student at University of China before she pursued a career in the police profession. After served the government for a long time, she decided to resign her job of TV news anchor and journalist in police bureau of China and to develop her other interests. She involved herself into business management of health care products, biotechnology engineering, charity works, and print modeling for Maxim European Issue. In 2006, she moved to Los Angeles and expended her modeling career further more.

Her most notable on-screen starring role is feature film Empress Vampire. In 2008, she landed her first feature film role debuting in Blood Scarab (2008) - a film directed by Don Glut, in which she played the Goddess Hathor's Handmaiden to showcase her dance skill. Later on she teamed up with award-winning director Phil Condit to co-produce the feature film Empress Vampire (2012)in which she is starring the Lead Role - Empress Vampire with a new fused Genre of Musical /Sci-Fi / Horror / Fantasy /Action. She sang, danced and choreographed the musicals in her horror feature film. Empress Vampire movie has been picked by numbers of film festivals and gained worldwide distribution in 2013. The movie has been showcased in Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, AFM, Hong Kong Film Festival etc. Her upcoming new feature films China Spy and Super Soul are a new age fusion of Sci-Fi, Action, Futurist, Musical and other elements. Her other works including modeling for art galleries, Magazines, commercials, and shows and interviews with TV channels like MTV, Current Tv etc.
