Angela Durazo - Biography

Angela Durazo is a Former Professional Triathlete turned actress and producer. Angela filmed her first supporting role in the indie short film 'Dried Up'. Two weeks later, Angela filmed her first supporting in the indie feature film 'LIMBO'. Three weeks later, Angela filmed her first lead as the sweet and mysterious "Natasha" in indie short film 'Safe House'. Three weeks after that, Angela was picked up as the lead "Jean" in the indie arthouse 1940s period piece short film, 'Baby, Baby' and Angela also landed the lead 'Jessica' in the touching indie short film"Change of Heart" set to film Spring 2016. Angela also began development on her own military drama short film, Iron Sights in the fall of 2015.

Prior to acting, Angela raced triathlon professionally and was the CEO of her own athlete marketing and branding company. She negotiated sizable endorsement deals for herself and her athletes with her most notable achievement being a multi-year year contract with the billion dollar company Myraid Genetics (VectraDA). Her work with athletes and the community earned her the nomination of the 2012 Women of The Year Award by The National Association of Professional Women. As exciting and fulfilling as triathlon and business was for her, Angela found herself needing to explore her creative aspirations.
