Ashley Couture was born in Providence RI, to Wendy and Eugene Coutu. She has one younger brother Aaron.
At the young age of six Ashley was enrolled in martial arts and soccer. By the age of 14 Ashley made her junior black-belt in Kenpo. Ashley furthered her athleticism to run for La Salle Academy, a DI Varsity Women's Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field, as well as DI Varsity Women's Cross Country achieving 11 varsity letters. Her main events include triple jump, long jump, pole vaulting, 55 meter dash, 60 meter dash, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 4000 meter run 5,000 meter run, 1.5 mile run, 2.5 mile run, 3.1 mile run. In her spare time she began freelance modeling towards her last years of high school. Ashley graduated from La Salle Academy in 2011, obtaining first honors (2007) and Second Honors (2008-2011).
As of May 2015 Ashley has graduated from Providence College obtaining a diploma in Bachelor of Arts with a major of Studio Art, concentrating in Photography. Her four years of College opened many new doors for Ashley. She started off by running D1 Track & Field in 2011-2012, She then began her photography career where she received an honorable mention in 2012, and first place and honorable mention in 2014, and in 2015 her photograph was awarded to the guest honoree for A Night in Black & White, Providence College's signature fundraising event. Other than being an artist, Ashley started acting with her debut role was in Almost Mercy (2015) by Tom DeNucci & Woodhaven Productions.
While attending college has balanced her love for education, art and acting. In just a little over one year Ashley has acted in six films, starred in two music videos. Ashley has modeled for designers, many photographers, and hopefully soon to be a published model. Since graduation, Ashley has been dedicated into building a strong portfolio for acting, modeling and as a photographer.
