Austin R. Grant - Biography

Austin Grant was born in Salt Lake City, UT Nov. 18 1993 to Kevin Grant and Jami Spencer. He has 3 older sisters. Actor Andrew W. Johnson is his brother-in-law.

He first got into acting his junior year in high school. Austin and a friend heard about auditions for the school play over the intercom and thought it would be funny if they could get cast. So they auditioned for the school's production of "All My Sons" as a complete joke, but both landed roles. Austin got the role of Chris Keller. Shortly after, Austin landed his first role in a feature film, "Resistance Movement". After that he took a solid year to train and work on his craft with actor Frank Gerrish.

Austin performed in several stage productions at a community college in Salt Lake City while continuing his training. He's also performed professionally on stage including Salt Lake Acting Company's production of "4000 Miles". Austin is currently enrolled at the University of Utah's Actor Training Program.

Austin has also acted in the prestigious Sundance Director's Lab, where he's worked and collaborated with A-list talent at the Sundance Resort in Utah.

Austin loves to spend time outside and with his family. He especially enjoys rock climbing, camping, hiking, and golf.
