Beatriz Brenes is a Costa Rican actress residing in Vancouver, Canada. Her parents took her to a play when she was 7 and she was lost to the magic of making stories come to life through acting. She graduated from the National Theatre School in Costa Rica in 2004 and from the Acting for Film and Television program of the Vancouver Film School in 2015. In 2011 she won the Best Actress Award of the Costa Rican International Film Festival for her work in the short film "La Sed (The Thirst)" written and directed by Nicolas Wong.
