Beau Brasseaux - Biography

Beau Aaron Donald Brasseaux (born November 2, 1989) is an American actor and stunt performer. He began his career as a background actor quickly landing a re-occurring feature role on Memphis Beat and appearing in television commercials for Popeye's and Bing before turning to film roles. He worked as a double on multiple films for actor Mark Wahlberg in 2012 which landed him on the cover of La Film Magazine after being recognized as Wahlberg's photo double on the set of the feature film Broken City. He Moved from Los Angeles back to his home state of Louisiana to continue working in the film industry which is now being called Hollywood South because of the large amount of Film Production the state has been involved in over the past years.

Beau Brasseaux was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the son of Katherine Petry, and Aaron Brasseaux, who was a successful talent and booking agent. His ancestry includes Irish and French. Brasseaux's family moved to a small town Des Allemands with his mother when he was nine, where he grew up on the bayou until the age of 12, He eventually moved back to the city of Baton Rouge.

Brasseaux was athletic while growing up,playing football, bmx, soccer, track, and basketball. He spent most of his teenage years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana area where he attended Woodlawn, Walker, and Lafayette High School his freshman year before going to Tara HighSchool. He played Running back and linebacker for his high school football team. He graduated in 2010. Afterward He started working various different jobs while trying to produce and run a recording studio in south Baton Rouge. He eventually began working on films as a stunt performer and actor after being discovered on set as a background actor on films.
