Ben Davies - Biography

Ben Davies has been acting since before he could walk. In fact, he was still in diapers when he appeared in his first national TV and print ad campaign. As an athlete, Track & Field News ranked Ben the No. 1 high school decathlete in the nation and he was named "Best Athlete" of his college conference.

Courageous (Kendrick Brothers hit in 2011) was Ben's first co-starring role in a feature film. He finished his last exam and headed to the movie set. The next summer, Ben filmed New Hope and won "Best Supporting Actor" at the Kingdomwood Film Festival.

While Ben Davies has had lead roles in over 10 feature films, playing characters that require great athletic ability with lots of action and true stories are his favorites. "I spent over a year doing research on Rachel Joy Scott before playing Rachel's special friend Nathan Ballard in I"m Not Ashamed including spending time with her mother, and even living homeless. Rachel was fearless, compassionate and loved people. I wanted my character and performance to highlight just how special and amazing Rachel was," Davies said.

In addition to acting and athletics, Ben is also an award winning writer -first place for best screen play in the Nashville Film Festival 2014 with over 1500 entires. He received the "Light in Hollywood" award, is a popular public speaker who enjoys sharing his faith and strives to be a role model.
