Ben Gavin grew up in San Antonio, Texas. As an accomplished athlete, Ben received a division 1 baseball scholarship to the University of Texas, where his love for acting led him to become a drama major. Shortly after college he moved to Los Angeles where he began aggressively pursuing an acting career. In 2011, Ben made his film debut in J.J. Abrams, Super 8 (2011) as Assistant Deputy Danny Milner. He has also acted in several other independent shorts and features and continues to study with noted acting coaches and directors. His passion for entertainment is not limited to the screen or stage, as Ben is also a very avid singer songwriter.
