Branden Cook was born in Los Feliz, California. His mom was a psychologist and his father an actor. With one trying to portray someone else, and the other trying to help people find themselves, Branden intuitively started analyzing human behavior. One of his first memories was seeing his father in a play called "See How They Run" by Philip King. With one turn of his father's head he made the audience laugh so hard they sobbed tears of hysterical joy. "When I heard everyone roar with laughter it was frightening, being so young. But as soon as I realized that they were all overcome with laughter and well... happy, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I was hooked."
