Brandon Brian Brooks was born in Nashville, Tennessee. His ancestry includes English, as well as Irish and Cherokee Indian. Brooks first true love was music. He had played drums in Nashville before discovering acting. Brooks credited when he was younger, that working in local Horror themed events in full FX makeup helped him get rid of his acute shyness.
After moving to Los Angels, Brooks studied the Chekhov Technique under the legendary acting coach George Shdanoff. He began auditioning and soon booked a series regular on Malibu Ca. The role gained him attention for his unique quirky style and physical comedy.
