Brenda Pond was born in Chicago, IL on March 26, 1982 to Freddie Ray Pond (Army Veteran, Retired Deputy Sheriff, and Ranch Manager). And to Maria Gaudalupe Ramirez (Pond). She is of Mexican descent(including Spanish,indigenous Mexican, while her father has Irish, German, and Viking ancestry. Her parents raised Brenda along with her four brothers and two sisters in Texas. She graduated from Central High in Grand Forks, ND. She moved back to Texas to be closer to her family where she attended college. In 2010 she began to pursue her acting career. She now Commutes between Los Angeles and New York city.
