Caitlin Van Zandt - Biography

In early 2006, actress Caitlin Van Zandt joined the cast of the CBS soap opera, Guiding Light as Ashlee Wolfe, a part that was initially only meant for a six episode run. Instead, her character was bumped up to recurring status and eventually, in 2007 Caitlin joined the cast full time.

As a child, Caitlin attended "Stagedoor Manor", a theater camp in Loch Sheldrake, New York, for ten years, along with other future actresses such as Natalie Portman, to develop her acting skills. Then in 2003, at age 18, Van Zandt made her film debut in the movie "Camp", which was filmed in Loch Sheldrake.

In 2006, Caitlin landed a role on the megahit HBO series, Les Soprano (1999) where she played Allegra Marie Sacrimoni. Caitlin is, in fact, no relation to her Sopranos co-stars Steven and Maureen Van Zandt, although it has often been reported that she is.

Born and raised in New York City, Caitlin attends Hunter College, where she is majoring in religion with a minor in psychology.
