Caleb Barwick - Biography

Caleb was born in Kirkland, Washington. He moved with his family to Round Rock, Texas, where he still resides, in October 2006. Caleb began his career in acting, on a summer whim. Spy Kids 4 was casting extras and his mother sent in his picture to be considered. He was called to attend and was selected for a small group classroom scene. Picked to sit behind the lead female spy girl, Caleb received direct and personal instruction from Robert Rodriguez. It was at that moment that his love for acting began to take shape.

Caleb has been training privately and in a group setting, with Mona Lee of Brite Lites Studios since October 2010, and has attended numerous industry related workshops. He's been hired as lead and principle roles in major student and independent productions. He's also kept busy with several regional and national commercial projects. In the spring of 2012, Caleb auditioned for and was selected to perform with the NYC based theatrical group, 600 Highwaymen, as Young Charley, in "This Great Country". Their adaption of "Death of a Salesman" was performed during Austin's well known, and highly attended, Fusebox Festival.

Outside of acting, Caleb is a big brother to two brothers, one with cerebral palsy. Due to his experience with children that have special needs, Caleb is extremely compassionate and is constantly looking for ways to help others. He is also a lover of animals and has four dogs. Caleb is a voracious reader and is known to dive right into a book, reading it quickly from cover to cover. He is a straight "A" student, attends the local middle school and also trains in the martial arts, Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.
