Camela Leierth - Biography

Camela Leierth is a storyteller and has used numerous mediums to showcase her artistry. She has been working as a professional in the entertainment industry since she was five years old, as a child actress and singer. Camela was born in Sweden and moved to the United States, at the age of 15. Her father is an accomplished playwright and has worked closely with director, Eva Bergman, the daughter of legendary director, Ingmar Bergman. Camela attributes everything she knows about play-writing to her father. Growing up with artists and actively studying the arts and its many facets provided her with the experience and skill-set to direct an array of Off-Broadway theater, plays, live-performances and music-videos in NYC, Paris, and London. Camela received great fame in music and was an artist in Sweden in the late 90's. She is a also a professional singer and composer, as she has worked and toured with the most recognized artists and composers of our times. Leierth is a co-author of the song "Walking On Air" which is on Katy Perry's album Prism. As a screenwriter and director, Camela has a unique style and is able to illustrate her vision by drawing upon her vibrant life experiences. She lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
