Candice 'CJ' Johnson - Biography

Candice "CJ" Johnson is a model, hairstylist, makeup artist, actress, personal stylist, artist, designer and more. At an early age, Candice discovered that she was multi-talented. Hair-styling, fashion, and the arts were not only her love and passion - but they were her gift. With more than 20 years in the hair industry, Candice received her "formal training" at BNT Potomac & Robert's Institute School of Cosmetology, where she received top honors in various student competitions for being ahead of her prime. Many began to take notice of Candice's impeccable eye to create "art". After designing logos for a Baltimore base T-shirt company, she was presented the opportunity to design costumes for the renowned Glynn Jackson Golden Scissors Hair Show for DC based store HOBO. This, as well as modeling for Barry Fletcher, Glynn Jackson himself, Swerv Magazine and many local boutiques and runway events, catapulted her personal style and versatility from behind the scenes to the forefront - making her a "quadruple-threat" in the industry. In 2011, Candice was granted the honor to be featured in a full spread for Swerv Magazine (May edition) along with being signed to Wilhelmina Philadelphia from 2011 to 2012. Candice recently transitioned into acting, building a resume that includes Sleepless Nights with Jamie Foxx, Black Eyed Children Let Me In, Cut My Hair Barber, House of Cards with Kevin Spacey, Deadly Affairs, Nightmare Next Door, Who The Bleep, HBO's Veep, Happy Baby and Front Cover - to name a few. With the ability to overcome obstacles along her path to success, proves Candice is not only an artist of style and fashion...but an architect of life.
