Carla Renata is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and a graduate of Howard University, where she obtained a B.A. in Broadcast Production.
She is the ONLY actress recurring on "three" network shows simultaneously - "Mr. Box Office", "Hart of Dixie" and "Shake It Up". Her indie short "The Learning Curve" was the Grand Prize Winner at 2013 New Media Film Festival, starring Criminal Minds regular Matthew Gray Gubler.
Carla has been seen and/or heard in numerous commercials, Broadway shows, with the most recent being "Gary Coleman" (yes, that Gary Coleman) in the Tony Award Winning musical "Avenue Q" and is the Co-Host of "On Air With Tony Sweet" and her movie review "Carla's Corner" can be heard every Wednesday from 4-6pm on Ubn Radio.com.
