Carla Shinall - Biography

Carla Shinall was born on March 3, 1982, in Cartersville, Georgia. She attended Cass High School where she was a member of the marching band, dance team, and drama club. She became a certified nursing assistant in 2000 shortly after finishing high-school. She attended college at Georgia Northwestern, as well as a few other trade schools where her primary focus was in health-care/nursing. In 2014, Carla responded to an online casting call for the Vacation reboot, starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate, which landed her a small role as a background actor. She was immediately bitten by the acting bug and there was no doubt in her mind that acting was her calling. A dream that once seemed so far out of reach for this small-town southern belle, has now become a reality, and she plans to continue reaching for the stars until she has reached super-stardom.
