Carole Wood - Biography

A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, this Southern Belle's roots were firmly planted in the world of dance and performing on stage before her desire to move into film acting following the birth of her two children. Landing several award winning lead roles in community theater and student films, she decided to hit the other side of the camera enrolling at the Miami film school in 2010. Already having completed a B.S degree in Communications from Kennesaw State University in 1997, Carole said "Education is a lifelong process and it is never too late to go back to school."

A former NFL Pro Bowl cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons, the blond hair, blue eyed Wood signed on as Cheerleading Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and helped the team earn top honors as Best NFL Cheer Squad in 1998 from Pro Football Weekly magazine. It was within the 12 years working in the NFL where Carole got her first real taste at stardom working alongside music giants Shania Twain, MC Hammer, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Santana and Shaggy during team choreography sessions and performances.

Carole recently wrote, starred in and produced "Krissy Belle," described as a sitcom style script edited in the form of a feature film. Krissy Belle premiered during the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival in 2013. "Krissy Belle" is a modern comedy appealing to the English/Spanish Bilingual community.

Carole is married with two children.
