Caroline Langrishe - Biography

Caroline Langrishe was born to a Lloyd's underwriter and baronet on 10 January 1958. She did repertory at the Bristol Old Vic, Churchill Theatre, Bromley and the Nottingham Playhouse in England and then moved on to professional theatre and small roles in movies and television. Her first real entry into television was Play for Today: The Flipside of Dominick Hide (1980) by the BBC in 1980. Now she is best known for her role as Charlotte Cavendish on the BBC production "Lovejoy" with Ian McShane. She married the actor Patrick Drury quietly in London on 15th November 1984, but they divorced in 1995 after having two daughters, Rosalind and Leonie.
