Casey Dacanay was born into a family of artists in Northern California. In elementary school, she began performing in community theatre productions ranging from classical Shakespeare to musical theatre. Also an accomplished dancer and choreographer, Casey was a founding member of the 11th Hour Dance Company, where she danced as a principal for several years.
She attended Vanguard University of Southern California while continuing to work in the greater Los Angeles area. Balancing a full school load and an internship, Casey also pursued work in film and television. She graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.A. in Theatre Performance.
With several film and commercial credits to her name and an expanded theatrical resume, Casey continues to work as a choreographer as well as an actress/model and can be seen in several commercials and print ads.
