Cengiz Dervis a former professional fighter (kickboxing / martial arts champion) who whilst competing trained as an actor in London, Paris, New York and LA. Cengiz learned his craft by initially working in students films, fringe theatre and a number of award winning short films before moving onto feature films. He now has a growing slate of features to his name in key and leading roles and continues to work on the craft when not on a project.
2015 saw Cengiz delivering leading roles in three international feature films and a few international award winning festival short films. These include a legendary sociopath hit-man in feature 'Retribution' and an elite black ops special forces soldier with amnesia in 'By Any Name' which was adapted from a best selling book of the same name.
Cengiz prides himself on bringing the best of his acting capabilities and blending it with the best of his physicality (extensive unarmed, armed martial arts background and a martial arts master). This blend gives him the ability to bring a very real and powerful reality to the roles he plays.
As a producer and writer Cengiz has to date created and starred in four award award winning short films, has a few books released and a number of outstanding completed feature scripts that he's developed with screenwriters, two of which have game concepts outlined and huge commercial potential.
