Charlotte Rothwell - Biography

Charlotte was born in the town of Southport in North-West England and started acting at 4 years old. She competed regularly in the Liverpool Performing Arts Festival, where she won the Actress of the Year award three times for her performances in acting and Shakespeare. Charlotte experienced tragedy in 2006 when her stepfather passed away in a drowning accident in the Maldives on 14th February, which further encouraged her to seize every day and turn her love for acting into a career. She arrived in Los Angeles in 2010 to study with the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, from where she graduated in May 2012. Shortly after, she landed the lead role in the independent thriller 'Senoa'. In 2013, Charlotte was named as one of BAFTA-Los Angeles' Newcomers of the Year- something she considers as one of her proudest achievements.
