Chelsea Taylor - Biography

Chelsea Taylor is an actress living in Hollywood, CA. Growing up in the theatre, Chelsea has trained with the likes of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (London), the Royal Shakespeare Company (London), Upright Citizens Brigade, and the Groundlings. At the age of 18, Chelsea starred in her first equity role as Juliet in Vanguard Repertory's Tragic Women (AEA), a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Two years later, Chelsea was cast in two short films directed by Matthew Barry (CSA) titled "Seniors" and "Diva." Nick Cassavetes praised Chelsea's performance in "Seniors" saying, "'Seniors' is staggeringly beautiful and well acted...Seniors' let's us in on a slice of contemporary teenage life." Over the past year, Chelsea has worked with James Franco who oversaw the production of the short "Ms. Match" where Chelsea played the lead. Since working with Franco, Chelsea has completed two other projects with the Rabbit Bandini team including the feature film "Actors Anonymous" which was developed from Franco's novel. The film will be released in 2017. Chelsea graduated from UCLA's Department of Theatre Film and Television with a BA in Acting. Upon her graduation, Chelsea then delved into the world of "writing-slash-acting" with her own project "MRS.", a web series that follows three college girls attempting to get married before the semester ends. In addition to being featured on FunnyOrDie.com, "MRS." has been picked up by Executive Producer Butch Kaplan to be produced for pilot season 2017.
