Cherie Jimenez - Biography

Cherie Jimenez Daly was born in New York City. She was cast by Joel Hopkins in her first independent feature Jump Tomorrow at the age of 12. She attended the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) for Theatrical Arts. She also attended the Sundance Film Makers Lab where she played the lead in the film Caucasia opposite Connie Britton, Kerry Washington, Michael Beach and Jake Gyllenhaal. That same summer she was cast in Michael Cuesta's film L.I.E. For College she auditioned and was accepted into SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory. After moving to Los Angeles she starred in Enderby Entertainment's movie Blood Shed as Jezebel. Cherie can be seen in the upcoming Independent film Breaking Tradition as Mrs. Shariff. Cherie's LA television credits include Chelsea on HBO's The Newsroom, Marissa on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars and in both season 3 and 4 of Cinemax's Banshee as Jill Francis.
