Christy Lee Hughes - Biography

Christy stars as Sydney McQueen, a snarky, opinionated art dealer who has an addiction to social media in Nora Dunn's Shoddy House B&B, a single camera comedy. In addition, she has been cast on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as an improv and sketch comedy performer. She has appeared on television as a guest star in America Undercover on HBO, working with Academy Award nominated director, Arthur Ginsberg. She was cast in the comedy pilot Channing, produced by Rabbit Bandini Productions. Christy played movie star Natalie, a neurotic, obsessive stalker with a foot fetish who would stop at nothing to get what she wants.

She was cast opposite Academy Award Winner, Melissa Leo, as the trashy drug dealer's girlfriend, Janice, in the critically acclaimed film Predisposed, a drama written by Academy Award Nominated Ron Nyswaner and directed by Phil Dorling. Predisposed was an Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival.

With an advanced improv and comedy background, Christy studied and performed with UCB, Lesly Kahn and The Groundlings. She was seen on stage in the leading role Beauty in the National Tour of Beauty & The Beast. She resides in Los Angeles.
