Clayton Stocker Myers - Biography

Clayton's body of work includes his breakout role in 2010's "Heaven Burns", which earned him the coveted Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film award in the 2010 Action on Film Festival in Los Angeles. He's gone on to star in the feature films "Privacy" (received distribution in Australia), "The Guide" (available on DVD February 25, 2014), and "The Maladjusted", a role that garnered him his second Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film award from the 2013 Action on Film Festival. Theater credits include lead roles in "Tape", "A Midsummer's Night Dream", and "American Buffalo".

Clayton's passion for the dramatic arts began in the thriving creative community of his hometown in central Maryland and it was during his high school theater productions when Clayton first fell in love with bringing a character to life for an audience. His passion for performance grew to include acting for the camera, and he found himself in his element in the booming independent film hamlets in the Maryland- Virginia- Washington, DC area.

Described as "a highly perceptive and intelligent artist, Clayton is capable of discovering the nuances within his characters" Clayton strives to creates a rich and vivid personality in each role he portrays.

Clayton continues to seek out more challenging and complex material to further develop his abilities, and he continuously hones his craft in classes and workshops. Always looking to expand his skill set, Clayton has begun to gain experience in the commercial and voice over arenas.

He can be seen regularly practicing and performing with his improv troupe Ponch when not on set or on the road for auditions.

Clayton is still an east coast actor, but always ready to travel for work.
