Colin McCredie was born in 1972. He graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in 1993. His breakthrough role was in the hit British film Petits meurtres entre amis (1994). He joined the cast of the ITV network series Taggart (1983) in 1995 and appeared in over 75 episodes. Notable stage productions include "Passing Places" and "Candide 2000". On leaving Taggart (1983) in 2009, Colin joined the cast of BBC Scotland drama River City (2002) and is due to appear in the 2011 Scottish film "Between Weathers".
