Dan Inosanto - Biography

Noted Filipino-American martial arts practitioner, who studied "jeet kune do" from fellow martial artist and actor Bruce Lee. Always seeking to improve his knowledge, Inosanto holds numerous belts in various martial arts including Asian, American & Brazilian disciplines such as Muay Thai, Pentjak Silat & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. An accomplished weapons practitioner, he has showcased his skills in Le jeu de la mort (1978) fighting Bruce Lee, he gave detective Burt Reynolds a grisly "manicure" before being speared to death in L'anti-gang (1981), appeared in the John Carpenter fantasy - martial arts adventure Les aventures de Jack Burton dans les griffes du Mandarin (1986), and clashed pool cues with Steven Seagal in the violent Justice sauvage (1991).

He currently operates a martial arts school (The Inosanto Academy) in Marina Del Rey, California.
