Danica Kennedy is an entertainment news host, model, and television personality.
Growing up Danica attended the Orange County High School of the Arts as a Commercial Dance major focusing on Cecchetti ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, and musical theater. She decided that she wanted to become a news host after anchoring high school announcements "The Art Attack Live." She was also inspired by constantly watching her role models Chelsea Handler and Joan Rivers on E!
Danica began her career in Hollywood as an intern on the TV show Chelsea Lately, doing personal assistant and production assistant work for comedians Chelsea Handler and Michael Yo. She was briefly featured on the shows Chelsea Lately and After Lately playing herself. After the internship Danica worked as a production assistant on the shows Chelsea Lately, So You Think You Can Dance, The Voice, The SAG Awards, & TMZ.
She became a host for Afterbuzz TV, an online broadcast network that does post shows for your favorite TV shows. Danica has hosted after shows for: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, I Am Cait, Parenthood, Vanderpump Rules, Younger, The Carrie Diaries, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Married to Jonas, & The Lying Game. She became close with company owners Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro who she considers to be her Hollywood mentors. Danica also began covering red carpet events and movie premieres for The Popcorn Talk Network.
Danica has dreamed of being a model and a host for most of her life. She has been told she's "too big to be a model" or "too small to be plus sized" and has faced many rejections from the fashion industry. She got a job playing bombshell Marilyn Monroe, which taught her to fully embrace her curves and encouraged her to pursue modeling. Danica is always working with photographer/ best friend Alena Mealy. They have been collaborating for years and have remained a creative team as they continue to pursue their career goals. She is now a modeling for Pinup Girl Clothing.
