Daniel J. Silva - Biography

Daniel J. Silva was born in Madrid, Spain, raised by an American mother and a Spanish father. When he was 6 years old his mom had to take his older sister to an audition so she decided to bring him along. Although Daniel never got the part it fueled his desire to make a trademark in the in the entertainment industry. In 2004 he spent his senior year in high school in Mendocino California where he played guitar in the High School Band,studied acting and joined the improving club. Back In Madrid he completed a 3 year program at the Municipal School for the Dramatic Arts (EMAD) ) where he performed classics such as Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Don Juan Tenorio, La Celestina and La Vida es Sueño by Calderón de la Barca. At the same time he continued doing Improv at El Club de la Impro under the supervision of Theater Sports world champion Javier Pastor. This experience led to a part in Fuga de Cerebros 2 ,several national commercials and publicity tours. Before his moved to southern California Daniel did a 3 month stop back in Mendocino to bring life to a Dangerous Stalker in the critically acclaimed "Boy Get's Girl" By Rebecca Gilman. Daniel is currently living in Los Angeles,Ca working steadily and studying improving at The Upright Citizens Brigade and acting at Expression Unlimited with legendary teacher Bobbie Chance.
