Daniel was born in Switzerland before moving to South America and then returning to Switzerland as a teen-ager. His athletic skills allowed him to attend University in the United States on a tennis scholarship where he earned a B.A in Criminal Justice and later a Master's in Elementary Education. Upon completing his studies, Daniel worked as a model in Europe, South America, Asia and Miami and started his acting career working in independent films in South Florida.
With his acting career starting to take off, Daniel packed his bags and drove cross country to pursue his acting career in Los Angeles in 2007. During his first few months in L.A, Daniel worked as a personal trainer to some of today's most recognizable actors and celebrities.
An avid reader and writer, Daniel optioned and sold two full feature screenplays in the Spring of 2008, and in fall 2009 he was cast as a series regular in the HBO production "Life on Top" in which he portrays the ruthless and eccentric venture capitalist Avi Cohen (a character similar to Michael Douglas'Gordon Gecko).
Daniel's fluency in French has landed him a series recurring role in the 2010 French speaking series pilot "West Hollywood, La Serie" (West Hollywood, the Series), in which he portrays the arrogant and charming Eric LeMans.
In 2010 Daniel signs a co-production deal with Argentinean director Martin Yernazian and Atorrante Films to produce two features, "Les Magnifiques", a European, sexy and witty film about three amateur Frenchmen in Los Angeles scoring a heist to settle their debts and "Rogues", a character-driven action thriller and cross genre mix described as "The Bourne Identity" meets "Traffic" and "City of God".
