Daniel Rovira - Biography

Actor Daniel Rovira is best known for playing Lautaro Abaroa in Imagination of Young (2015).

Daniel Ramirez Rovira was born on April 26, 1999 in San Jose, Costa Rica to Hazel Rovira Castillo, who is a computer engineer, and Edieth Ramirez Villalobos, who is a business manager. He has two older brother and sister, Jonathan and Kimberly, and he has Costa Rican, as well as Spanish, ancestry.

Since he was born, Daniel lived in Costa Rica, and since the age of 3, he always had a passion for singing and acting. Growing up he always showed the people around him his acting abilities through theatre. Also, Daniel always characterized himself for being able to imitate Disney character's voices, and do voice over. At the age of 11, on February 24, 2011, he flew to Los Angeles as a permanent resident, he turned 12 two months later. Due to the fact that he didn't know how to speak English, he had to wait on starting his acting career, and learn English first. He then started attending Endeavor College Preparatory Charter School where he learned English and received great knowledge.

His acting career began on April 18, 2014 when he attended his first audition for a student film, in which he got a callback. Daniel then auditioned for Rob Lambert director and founder of Rimrock Pictures. And later on gave Daniel his first role as (Young) Beto in the film Los Niños Sicarios (2015).

Four months after he started his career, Daniel found Talent Manager Wendy Alane Wright and her YouTube channel. In one of Wendy's videos, she asked for kid submissions, and Daniel submitted himself. Quickly being contacted by Wendy, Daniel had a meeting with her, and she signed him to her roster at WAW Entertainment that same day.

Daniel started attending Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts on September 2014. In his journey at this High School, Daniel had the chance of winning fifth place for his performance in his scene on "Bang Bang Your Dead" at the category of Social Conscience at the Dtasc Fall Festival. The school gave the actor amazing training for the course of a year.

Daniel then was cast by Joe Dain Vincent Sabella Nicholas Lanier and Joe A. Molina as the starring lead "Lautaro Abaroa" in the upcoming Film Imagination of Young (2015). A month after, Daniel got cast by Devin Rice and Jacqueline Monique Corcos on the upcoming feature film _Being Black Enough (2016)_ as (Young) Will by Devin Rice Productions. Two weeks after production for _Being Black Enough (2016)_ was over and the film moved into post-production, Daniel got cast as Flaco in the film _Hard Time Harvey (2015)_ directed by Michael Keller. Soon after, Daniel was signed by talent agents Jackie Lewis and Amy Lord at LB Talent Agency.

Daniel then was signed by Delores Cantú at Candu Management. And soon after proceeded to get cast as Charlie in the Horror Movie _Charlie Charlie (2016)_and a week later got offered the role as Lil Monster in the short film _If I Retaliate (2016)_.
