Danièle Watts - Biography

Daniele Watts made her film debut in the critically-acclaimed blockbuster hit, Django Unchained (2012), acting alongside Oscar-nominated Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio, as "Coco". On TV, she is known as "Angela Mullen", love interest to "Shane Botwin", on season 8 of Showtime's hit show, Weeds (2005), and plays Martin Lawrence's daughter on the upcoming FX show, Partners (2014), also starring Kelsey Grammer. Watts studied performing arts at the North Springs Arts Magnet in Atlanta, GA, the same high school attended by Raven-Symoné and Usher Raymond, and went on to study theatre at the University of Southern California, and the British American Drama Academy in London. An award-winning theater artist and advocate for arts education, Daniele has taught performance for the nationally-recognized "Spark Mentorship Program", "Ices After-School Program", and the "Young Storyteller's Foundation".
