Danielle Nicolette Najarian, was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She is known for her recurring appearances as the Receptionist on the ABC television show, Private Practice.
As a little girl her instructors would refer to her as a "social butterfly." Her parents soon became proud recipients of numerous invitations to attend "parent / teacher meetings" due to Danielle's budding talents that were still yet to be harnessed. Danielle took great pride in this title, although many others may have looked down upon it. Danielle's thoughts on butterflies... "Although caterpillars at first sight, many people look down at them as tormented unattractive creatures. Even though they are rejected and hidden for a time, somehow miraculously blossom into the most beautifully sought after, works of art, on earth."
At the age of 4, Danielle studied classical piano and was awarded the lead roles in almost every production she was a part of. This exceptional young lady can turn heads in any environment, but that didn't stop her from obtaining her degree in Psychology and Musical Theater from a private University in the state of New Jersey. Raised in a family who never traveled far from home, she found herself spending her weekends going to New York City for auditions, studying dance at The Broadway Dancer Center and physically training rigorously alongside power lifters in her spare time. Danielle is very athletic having conquered all type of sports. Her hobbies include hiking some of the most intense mountain ranges this country has to offer, and riding dirt bikes and ATV's as if they were tricycles. She has made numerous appearances back up dancing with Mariah Carey, staring in commercials for MTV and VH1, modeling, hosting, and touring as a full time singer in a rock band.
Today, Danielle works on both coasts having lived in Los Angeles, CA as well as New York & New Jersey. She writes, directs, and produces her own material and has grown to appreciate editing and working behind the scenes, as well. Her acting is ongoing with a private coach in New York City, while training in stunts, hand to hand combat, and weaponry specializing in guns. Although Danielle enjoys hiding out in the quiet solitude of New Jersey, her talents continue to take her center stage.
