Born in Mount Vernon, New York, just north of the Bronx, Danny (as he is known to friends and family) attended Julliard Drama School after first taking acting at Marin Community College north of San Francisco. Other than three years in San Francisco, he has lived in and around New York City his whole life. In addition to film and televison work, he has done A Gentleman of Verona in Shakesphere in the Park (NYC), Taming of the Shrew at both the Denver Theater Center and the Old Globe in San Diego, and he has appeared in "My Italy Story" (1997) a one-man, Off Broadway play. His work in "My Italy Story" was praised by the New York Time s, Newsday and The New York Daily News.
